Purpose

What happens to us as we get older that we lose the excitement for what we do? Why do we allow ourselves to live passionless lives drained of excitement? I don’t mean to suggest that we never have fun. I’m suggesting that you and I should be excited to do what we have been called and designed to do.

Complacency is the enemy of greatness. The purpose for which you were designed doesn’t in and of itself make you great. Your understanding of your necessity on this planet and your willingness to maximize your potential are what make you great. The fact that there is only one you already excludes you from the realm of typical.

You were designed to be the answer to someone's problem either on an individual level or a corporate level. Not knowing your purpose will cause you to drift through life. Purposeful living prevents passionless living. Mark Twain said, "the two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why." Always remember that you were created on purpose with purpose.
